Join local illustrator Jacob Jellard for a relaxed and beginner-friendly urban sketching workshop.
In this session we’ll explore how artists use light, shadow and tonal values to create depth and atmosphere in their drawings. Through a series of simple exercises and guided demonstrations, you’ll learn how to identify light and dark shapes, build confidence with grey washes, and create sketches that feel more three-dimensional.
Suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to develop their drawing skills.
All materials can be provided, but feel free to bring your own sketchbook and favourite drawing tools.
