The Story
Warmth in the Old Wheelhouse
Orange Ora is a family-run workshop space above our café in the heart of Mevagissey.
We started it to create somewhere for people to get together, learn something new and have a go at being creative. We run a mix of art classes, workshops and wellbeing sessions, and the space is also available for others to host their own events.
Whether you’re local or just visiting, we hope Orange Ora is somewhere you can come, meet people and spend a couple of hours doing something a bit different. With views over the harbour and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s a space that we want the whole community to enjoy.

The Coffee House
Downstairs you’ll find The Wheelhouse, our family-run café overlooking the harbour. We serve great coffee, freshly made breakfasts, homemade cakes and simple lunches, whether you’re meeting friends, taking a break from exploring the village or settling in before a workshop upstairs.
The Terrace
Our terrace looks out across Mevagissey harbour and is the perfect spot to sit with a coffee or something to eat. It’s a place to slow down for a while, watch the boats come and go, and enjoy one of the best views in the village.
The Studio
Above the café is Orange Ora, our creative workshop space. It’s home to art classes, wellbeing sessions and community events, and is also available to hire for workshops, meetings, celebrations and private gatherings.
